I AM (Ben) Redmond
I am currently Blue Duck Media’s resident Director. In my DECADE + as a creative, I've managed teams of creatives on multi-day shoots in LA, San Francisco, DC, New York, and even Manila. I've worked as a writer, producer, cinematographer, and editor on numerous eSports projects with ESPN for Madden & Apex Legends tournaments. I was a Creative Producer on Showtime’s Below The Belt with Brendan Schaub. Prior to that role, I worked as a Creative Producer at BuzzFeed, writing and directing videos for the likes of Home Depot, Aflac, GAP, Snickers & Samsung.
At Blue Duck, I have produced for IGN & the NFL, for social sports shows with Trey Wingo & Richard Jefferson. I served as Creative Director and created the full broadcast package for a weekly live NBA talk show TWITCH. And I wrote the final season of Wondery's scripted podcast, Sports Wars (Conor vs Khabib).
I was shortlisted as part of Whatifi Studio's inaugural production grant for a feature length script I wrote in a unique choose-your-own-adventure format. In my previous life as a freelance creative I made videos for the likes of LEGO, GE, P&G, Getty Images, Band-Aid, Cheerios, McDonald’s, Trident, NASA, & DJI.
Oh, and I'm also a CMT Award Winning Music Video Editor (Carrie Underwood's Smoke Break won best female video) and I've edited major music videos for Joy Williams, the Wallflowers and the Silversun Pickups.
I've lived on four continents and I make great air-fried Arancini. I surf and I once ran a 4:40 mile.
